Very commonly seen in Bangkok are the pimped up coaches which often ferry workers to the factories outside Bangkok. These buses are usually artistically air brushed with Japanese manga characters, cartoon or comic characters from Disney, Marvel Comics and the movies. The owners also add in additional headlights, reflectors and speakers until it looks like a disco on wheels.

I got a chance to take some photos of a couple of these moving art pieces. The owners definitely take much pride in them, as they spend a lot of time cleaning the coaches before the workers’ shift ends, and it’s time to ferry them home.

I did some searching on the internet regarding this and there is a CNN report about these buses: http://travel.cnn.com/bangkok/life/thailands-bus-artists-629230
