One of the most well known waterfalls in the world is the Niagara Falls which lies on the border between the USA and Canada, and drains Lake Erie into Lake Ontario via the Niagara River. We got to visit this magnificent wonder of nature in 2003. Taking a tour bus from New York, we followed a local tour group that stays overnight at Niagara Falls. This is also a good way to spend a weekend excursion when in New York.
